2009leveck:

On behalf of the Miss Southeastern Ohio Scholarship Pageant, I would like to personally thank you for your interest in our program. In addition to our overall mission of supporting higher education, encouraging the performing arts, and promoting community service among area young women, we are proud to host the Miss Southeastern Ohio Scholarship Pageant for several reasons:

As a community, Zanesville-Muskingum County is committed to encouraging young people to advance their education, to obtain personal and humanitarian goals, and to improve the lives of others while maintaining their own sense of style and character.

We are very proud of our Southeastern Ohio region, and we feel that we are an ideal location for hosting guests from throughout the state as they come to support our local entertainers and contestants. Centrally located in the heart of Ohio, we have immediate and swift access from every direction. Furthermore, we are certain to treat all of our candidates, volunteers, staff, and guests with the utmost kindness; offering a variety of opportunities for lodging, entertainment, meals, and quality customer service and hospitality.

Working diligently to define our community as an entertainment and convention destination, we admire the energy, strength, and influence of the well-rounded contestants, to which we wish to provide a venue for showcasing their talents and convictions. Attracting lovely, talented, intelligent, well-spoken contestants annually, we continue to be impressed with their levels of professionalism and enthusiasm, and we are always especially pleased with their creativity, spirit, and contributions to the success of our community. They are loyal and dedicated candidates who are already making an impression, and we continually receive many compliments on their positive and pleasant personalities. In addition to meeting and exceeding the expectations we have of them to be appreciative of and giving to the program and the community, they prove to be women of integrity; displaying strength of character, as well as great charm and a quick wit!

The Miss SEO program has a longstanding tradition of excellence as a staple in this community. From providing a high quality stage production and awarding significant scholarships and prizes, to producing successful women who continue to give back to the community, our former and current Miss SEO & Miss SEO Teen titleholders are no exception!

It is indeed, my honor and privilege to serve as the Executive Director of the Miss Southeastern Ohio Scholarship Program. The production lies in the capable hands of my husband, Andy, who will provide an entertainment event that will leave the contestants feeling as if they have just experienced the excitement of the Miss America runway, and the glamour of the Miss USA stage! The audience will be left with a feeling of pride, and a wish that they could watch it all one more time!

A special thank-you goes out to the generous sponsors of the program. They have provided these women such an opportunity for scholarship assistance, as well as personal and professional development. Finally, a heartfelt thanks to the Miss SEO Committee, Cast, and Volunteers, and to each of you for supporting the program, our contestants, and this fabulous community! Thank you!

Warm Regards,
